Our September 2024 inspection of Reach Academy Feltham has been overwhelmingly positive with the school judged as outstanding in all six inspected categories: Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management, Early Years provision and Sixth form provision.

At Reach Schools, our teachers work tirelessly every day to ensure that all children are supported to reach their potential and with the support of our governors and trustees, we were able to show that, across all areas of the school, there is exceptional work happening every day to drive success.

The inspection found that the Quality of Education was Outstanding, stating that there are ‘high-quality learning opportunities within a culture of care.’ It was observed that ‘teachers subject knowledge is excellent’ and the school offers a ‘highly ambitious curriculum for everyone.’

The Personal Development was graded Outstanding, stating that ‘there are exceptional opportunities to learn in the classroom and through enrichment activities’ and ‘pupils access a future of opportunity and choice.’

It was their commitment to their learning as well as the exceptional work from our teachers that made our inspection such a success.”

The Behaviour and Attitudes was graded Outstanding, stating that Behavior is excellent’ and that ‘pupils learn early on to conduct themselves maturely and with a deep respect for other people.’

Leadership and Management was also graded Outstanding, the report noting leaders ‘share a drive and ambition’ leading to parents being ‘overwhelmingly happy with the education and support that their children receive.’

Early Years was also graded Outstanding.  The report stated that ‘pupils rapidly learn to read with fluency’ and that there is an ‘expert and consistent approach to phonics’.

Finally, the sixth form (Feltham College) was also graded Outstanding. Stating that ‘sixth form students model positive behaviour to younger children’ and that ‘they are taught to feel optimistic about their futures.’
