The Reach community

School is not just about educational outcomes. Reach Schools can not achieve exceptional outcomes for all children and young people without working with and learning from others. We constantly look outwards and reflect inwards to ensure we are always growing.

Our national community

Cradle-to-career partnerships

A national network of locally-rooted schools and trusts establishing effective place-based models of ‘cradle to career’ support in their own communities. Reach Schools acts as initial inspiration, a continued thought-partner and active participate in these partnerships.

100s leadership programmes

Across the country, The Reach Foundation is building individual capacity to lead schools and trusts of the future. The programme provides networking, training, and mentorship for aspiring school leaders. Reach Schools contributes to and benefits from these programmes.

Heads Forward Network

Our school leaders are active members of this community of headteachers. Our CEO, Rebecca Cramer, was co-founder and original co-chair of the network, and our Primary headteacher, Matilda Browne, is current co-chair.

Our international community

International visits

Members of staff in the past two years have travelled to the US to learn from schools there and actively participate in international learning communities.

Global Teacher Prize

In 2018, our CEO Rebecca was a nominated finalist in the $1 million Global Teacher Prize. This opened up a wealth of international contacts and opportunities for learning.

Teach for All

Over the past 12 years students and teachers have been invited to participate in international conferences as far away as Mumbai in India and Sofia in Bulgaria.
